How we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

1. Introduction

AMIRTECH.AI ("we", "our", "us") operates the Zoofy+ mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use Zoofy+.

By downloading and using Zoofy+, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Data We Collect

Account Information

  • Name and email address (required for account creation)
  • Profile photo (optional)
  • Password (stored as a secure hash — we never store plaintext passwords)

Pet Data

  • Pet name, species, breed (if known), approximate age
  • Pet photographs uploaded for AI analysis
  • Health logs: weight, diet records, exercise notes, veterinary visit notes
  • Behavior logs and observations you record

Usage Data

  • App interaction logs (features used, session duration)
  • Device information: device type, operating system version
  • Crash reports and performance diagnostics

Payment Data

Subscription payments are processed by RevenueCat and the respective App Store (Apple App Store / Google Play). We do not collect or store payment card details. RevenueCat shares subscription status with us to grant access to premium features.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To provide, operate, and improve Zoofy+ services
  • To perform AI analysis on pet photos (breed detection, health markers, behavior signals)
  • To generate personalized behavior coaching recommendations
  • To track and display your pet's health and behavior progress over time
  • To send app-related notifications (analysis results, feature updates)
  • To respond to support requests
  • To comply with legal obligations

4. Pet Photo Processing

When you upload a pet photo, it is transmitted securely to Google Gemini AI for analysis. The photo is processed to identify breed characteristics, observable health markers, and behavior signals.

Pet photos are stored in your account for up to 90 days after upload, after which they are automatically deleted from our servers. You can delete photos manually at any time from within the app.

Photos are never used for advertising, never sold to third parties, and never used to train AI models without your explicit consent.

5. Third-Party Services

  • Supabase — Our backend database provider. Your account data, pet profiles, and logs are stored securely on Supabase infrastructure. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit.
  • Google Gemini AI — Processes pet photos for AI analysis. Google's data processing terms apply to photo analysis. Photos are not retained by Google beyond the duration of the API call.
  • RevenueCat — Manages subscription billing and entitlements. RevenueCat's privacy policy governs how they handle payment and subscription data.
  • Apple App Store / Google Play — Handle app distribution and in-app purchases on their respective platforms.

6. Data Retention

  • Account data: retained while your account is active, and for 30 days after deletion
  • Pet photos: retained for 90 days after upload, then automatically deleted
  • Health and behavior logs: retained for the duration of your account
  • Usage analytics: retained in aggregated, anonymized form indefinitely

7. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

  • Access: Request a copy of your personal data
  • Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Erasure: Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format
  • Restriction: Request restriction of processing in certain circumstances
  • Objection: Object to processing based on legitimate interests
  • California residents (CCPA): You have the right to know what personal information is collected, sold, or disclosed, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

8. Children's Privacy

Zoofy+ is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.

9. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including TLS encryption for data in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, and regular security audits. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take all reasonable steps to protect your information.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email. Your continued use of Zoofy+ after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
